Yes, the wife used our stove to cook lunch for the family. I am not sure is this the first time or she had done this when we were attending classes. I honestly think they are highly unethical and the thing which annoys me the most is the wife keeps saying our house rent is by far the cheapest around. Although it is true, that does not mean we/I have to bear your accommodation costs. This is bullshit. Wanted to discuss with the landlord but find it hard to actually talk to him due to the uneasiness of telling them to pay their share of bills and poor Mandarin. Other housemates are also in dilemma about this.

I can't seem to apprehend why full-grown adults are acting this way. Don't they have conscience? Imagine some family did this to their son, how would they feel?

Oh, they told us they just bought another house across the street - Congrats, means you are indeed wealthy and sordid -. I almost forgot to mention about the new cabinet. Apparently they bought a new cabinet to place their kitchen utensils and guess what? They placed it right next to the stove. Brilliant move. I will be utterly surprised if they will not be laying their hands on the stove the next time they come to stay.

I might have ranted like a terribly calculative person but what they did was blatantly ignorant and inconsiderate. I DO hope that they will realise we are just students and are UNEMPLOYED and it is an immoral attitude to have our/my parents to (indirectly) pay their share.

For Buddha's sake, they are adults in their late 40/50s!

My posts are getting infrequent and far between ever since coming here. There's really nothing much here and food is definitely overpriced. I can get better and bigger serving back at hometown(which is highly urbanized) at a lower price. A bowl of noodles here costs RM3 while I could get it for RM2.50 back at Penang. The business community here are seriously capitalizing on the student population which I think is unscrupulous.

Moved to a new residence at the start of second semester and am living with better company of housemates compared to the previous residence. It's cheaper but with a downside: Landlord occupying the master bedroom. Initially we/I thought it would be fine with the landlord coming to stay once a while although it will be kind of awkward with him around. However it turned out it is not so. He has been coming to stay quite frequently along with his family on weekends(every week!). Since we tenants are footing the electric and water bills, I feel that the landlord is not being considerate and somewhat taking advantage of us. I would not mind if he comes to stay once a while in a month but this is totally another story. During his stay, not once did he mention he would contribute a bit on the bills. The whole family is acting oblivious and now since it is the holidays season, he and his family have been staying for 5 days and counting. What's more? His wife just used the stove and gas which we bought and paid to cook lunch just now. I think she was caught off guard when we came home(our class got canceled) and saw her using our stove.

Edit:
I have only managed to watch Nyankoi and Kobato so far and they are not bad, but nothing jaw-dropping, awesome either. Am still waiting for a good Kimi no Todoke and Sasameki Koto release. Oh, I need to catch up on CANAAN too.

The long-awaited holidays started a week ago and I have been busy with the preparation for cousin's wedding ever since I came back home. Since the wedding is over, I am a little less occupied now.

Did I mention that I stopped watching anime series altogether ever since Uni started? It has been one heck of a semester. Missing out on CANAAN and Aoi Hana though I have read episode summaries; which is why I am waiting for batch d/load. Surprisingly, I am listening to Korean music lately due to the lackluster of the Jpop scene nowadays. Favoring a few tracks from Super Junior and T-Ara. Geez...

By the way, the weather around the world is getting nastier isn't it? Quakes, typhoons, flash floods and tsunamis. Could be Mother Nature's way of getting back at us for being greedy and inconsiderate. Too little efforts put on conserving and preserving the nature to balance out the massive global industrialization but there might be positive outcomes IF each and every country do something about it. Not so likely to come true eh? So, the Mayans' prediction might come true after all.

Took coffee; Blame the caffeine.

Had forgotten to write up about my first solo holiday trip down to KL on last February.

The collage below (almost) sums up all the highlights of my holiday in KL:-

Hoping to make another trip down to KL during my semester break but with the AH1N1 pandemic going rampant, I doubt I will be going anywhere. There's already one confirmed AH1N1 case in my Uni along with a few suspected cases. O.o

I thought I was quite lazy and sloppy considering my gender, but how wrong was I! My room mate and certain house mates(all female, mind you) really made me witness how oblivious and indifferent one might be when it comes to performing household chores. I was naive to think that boys were the ones with the careless attitude towards cleanliness.

A few weeks ago while my other house mates and me were really busy with our assignments and tests, nobody volunteered to clean the house. My room and (a few)house mates could not even bother to sweep the floor despite there is a layer of dust and hair all over. Imagine how dirty the floor is and I am astonished that they managed to withstand the filth for the entire week! The ones who cleans the house each and every week are a few of my fellow course-mates/housemates and me but this does not mean it is entirely our duty to clean the house. They rather spend their time on Facebook, answering dumb quizzes, playing mindless games and watching dramas than to keep their residence clean. Makes me think the world is producing brilliant intellectuals with no common sense or whatsoever.

Speaking of my room mate, I really want to move out and rent another single occupancy room. She is really making my blood pressure rise. I really do not mind that she combs her hair often but the problem is she does not clean/pick her hair that fell on the floor. Even saw her hair on the freaking basin! Is it so hard to pick up YOUR dead cells? asdfghjkl!!! I think she only cleaned the bathroom once in these 2 months even though I have already offered my toilet cleaner for her to use entirely. Kinda irks me to no end when I come back after class to see the room/bathroom filthy and she is just laying on the bed FB-ing or watching her endless drama collections. Mom would be so proud of me if she sees how diligent and clean-freak I have become.

My room mate is still laying on the bed albeit I had told her to sweep the room 1+ hour ago. My goodness... I have to endure for 2+ years. Pray that I don't die of high blood pressure.

This journal is not dead, if anyone thought so. Haven't been able to post anything since I moved here because:

1. It took 1+ month for the (useless)ISP to install cables and set up the Internet connection.
2. Busy settling in and rushing assignments to meet datelines(because of reason no.1).

Life here is not as bad as I initially thought it would be. I am actually enjoying my time here a lot though sometimes a housemate cum course-mate of mine is such a prick.

One complaint though, the Uni's cafeteria is shockingly small and it is so obvious that the size of it cannot even accommodate up to 400 students during lunch hour. Wonders what was going through the architect's mind when he/she designed it.

Here's the photo of the spider which sneaked into my room yesterday. It was HUGE! Luckily no one was bitten by it and my room mate got freaked out. One of my housemate managed to smack it flat before it ran away.

On the side note, I am definitely liking this season's lineup. 青い花 and CANAAN~
And, lirica is just awesome.
Sadly and regrettably, I did not managed to attend DaiCon(and attempts to kidnap Minorin) due to tests and group assignments. T.T *headdesk*

I am officially off the -teen chart 4 days ago. Definitely feeling older and somewhat under accomplished. Turning twenty made me realised that I still have not achieved certain goals and promises that I had made in the past, due to my inability to handle certain situations I was in at times. Learning from the experience was definitely something, really.

Being a year older and going off to another state for further studies seems like I am given a second chance to make things right which I really wanted to, this time around. I shall no longer give myself desperate and piteous reasons to blunder for I have set my mind straight on achieving my resolutions. The third chance won't come knocking on my door, that's for sure.

On the other note, big thanks to M for a wonderful b'day celebration and present. It was very sweet of you and I really appreciate it. Though I appeared to be inanimate but inside, I was tremendously elated. Sorry about the loss of your expensive helmet, I am partly responsible for it =(

Managed to complete Marimite S4 soon after my last day of college. It started off nicely but when the Touko drama(not a big fan of Touko) kicked in, the show felt too draggy and was tedious to watch. Luckily it redeemed itself in the last 2 episodes. Noriko really shone in this season, along with Shimako. I felt the other characters were not given enough exposure and screentime. Hopefully there's a season 5, preferably OVAs =))))

The buzz is all over the net. Chihara Minori is coming to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!!!

Photobucket

There will be a Q&A session with the fans on Saturday, 11th July and a special performance on the following day, Sunday, 12th July. I wonder will there be an autograph session. Nevertheless, I will be going or rather, will make everything possible for me to travel down to KL(Uni classes will be starting in June) to catch a glimpse of Minorin in person ^^

Kind of surreal that DaiCon managed to invite Minorin but they DID! I am ecstatic!

College has officially ended yesterday. Thinking back on how I dreaded college at first, I was unexpectedly blue on the final day. Guess I have come to like most of my classmates. I thought I was going to be fine as I was able to fight back tears from falling after breakfast but how wrong I was. Wept silently while I was alone in my bedroom during noon. It hurts somehow. I cried again in the evening when I received my final project grade(B+). I have never cried over my results but this time I guess most part of me hoped that I was able get a better grade. Felt like I had let people down by getting a B, especially to the person who taught me a lot during the 2 years.

Am still feeling melancholic. Ache comes and goes throughout the day.

I think I'll post a private entry after this - as a note of remembrance of something important

Yes, I am pretty hooked on Skins right now though prior watching, I regarded the TV series as nothing more than a teenage alcohol, drugs and sex-fest drama. I'll be honest here; what got me to watch was the gay storyline in the 3rd season of skins. Personally I find the storyline as a honest representation of what teens go through while discovering their sexualities. It dealt with confusion, denial and uncertainty without being overly cliche or dramatic and that is why I think the couple garnered a wide fanbase in just a short while. Also, the actresses: Lily Loveless and Kathryn Prescott gave outstanding performances as the pair of conflicted teenage couple, making it worthwhile to watch the series over and over again. Lovely pair.

I am looking forward to see how their relationship progresses in the next season which is 10-12 months away =[ . In the meantime, I'll just fill my time watching fanvids at the usual site. ^^

For those who are curious, here's a link to a fantastic fan-made trailer of the couple

They just cracked me up to the max in this episode. Due to the fact that both of the characters are voiced by Kikuchi Mika and Koshimizu Ami, it is like watching Arika and Nina(sans the emo, "nobody-touch-my-father", uptight, serious part). The other girl sure does look like Nina.. Boy they have weird names; Bouganville and the other one I didn't manage to catch =S

I have a feeling that this show will be following the path of SUNRISE-production-done-right(Mai-HiME and Code Geass). Even if it doesn't and ends up being an awful trainwreck later on, I'll be watching this for seiyuu sake. ;D

Skimmed through SoraKake Shoujo ep.2 and I could not help but to notice like I am watching Mai-Hime(in a futuristic space setting) all over again. The ending scene of SoraKake ep.2 was similar to the ending scene of Mai-Hime ep.2 =\
By the way, the AliPro OP sounded just so wrong.

Just a quickie:

Doesn't it strangely resembles the Orphan that tried to attack Takumi and was later killed by Akira's Gennai? Hmmm...

OH! They turned Rado into a puny robot. ROTFLMAO. Natsuki Itsuki visited a bar.

This is interesting. Deceased twins or a clone of hers? Or SUNRISE is just playing with my mind? Anyway, I find Nami is, by far, the most interesting character to watch(Suggested anthropophobia in ep.1). Yes, I am partly bias because she is voiced by Nanri Yuuka.
