Yes, the wife used our stove to cook lunch for the family. I am not sure is this the first time or she had done this when we were attending classes. I honestly think they are highly unethical and the thing which annoys me the most is the wife keeps saying our house rent is by far the cheapest around. Although it is true, that does not mean we/I have to bear your accommodation costs. This is bullshit. Wanted to discuss with the landlord but find it hard to actually talk to him due to the uneasiness of telling them to pay their share of bills and poor Mandarin. Other housemates are also in dilemma about this.
I can't seem to apprehend why full-grown adults are acting this way. Don't they have conscience? Imagine some family did this to their son, how would they feel?
Oh, they told us they just bought another house across the street - Congrats, means you are indeed wealthy and sordid -. I almost forgot to mention about the new cabinet. Apparently they bought a new cabinet to place their kitchen utensils and guess what? They placed it right next to the stove. Brilliant move. I will be utterly surprised if they will not be laying their hands on the stove the next time they come to stay.
I might have ranted like a terribly calculative person but what they did was blatantly ignorant and inconsiderate. I DO hope that they will realise we are just students and are UNEMPLOYED and it is an immoral attitude to have our/my parents to (indirectly) pay their share.
For Buddha's sake, they are adults in their late 40/50s!
